Numa pequena acção, um grande gesto.

A menina, de 13 anos, ganhou um prémio e foi cantar o hino dos EUA, num jogo da NBA.

Vinte mil pessoas no estádio. Ela afinada e compenetrada.

De repente o braço tremeu, engasgou -se, esqueceu-se da letra... e DEU UMA BRANCA!!!

Treze anos, sozinha, ali no meio. e o público ameaça uma VAIA.

De repente, Mo Cheeks, técnico dos Portland Trail Blazers, aparece ao seu lado e começa a cantar, incentivando-a, e trazendo o público.

Só o técnico tomou a iniciativa de ir até lá para ajudar, enquanto à volta dela começava-se a ensaiar a vaia.

Mo Cheeks, mostra o que é liderança e como uma atitude de apoio, NA HORA CERTA, pode fazer uma grande diferença, para ajudarmos e mudar a história do JOGO da vida.

Será que isso já não nos aconteceu? E a nossa atitude, foi como a do técnico Mo Cheeks ou como a de todos os outros que estavam à sua volta?

An Example of Leadership

A simple action, a great example.

A girl, 13 years old, won a prize and was asked to sing the USA national anthem AT an NBA game.

20,000 people around the field, she is tuned and concentrated.

Suddenly, her arm trembles, she chokes, forgets the words... and goes BLANK!!!

13 years old, alone in the center of the stage, the audience threatens to start hissing.

In a fast move, MO CHEEKS, Portland Trail Blazers' Coach gets by her side and starts singing, encouraging her and 'bringing' back the audience.

He was the only one to take the initiative to help, while all around the young girl a hissing event was being prepared.

With his attitude of support and encouragement, MO CHEEKS shows us what leadership is really about. 

At the RIGHT TIME, it may make a huge difference in order to help and change the history of this GAME we call life.

Has this ever happened to us? Which attitude have we taken when it happened: MO CHEEKS's or the audience's?
